Robert Papp: never grow up
Robert Papp (Robert Papp) never left the world of his childhood. And today, he wakes up daily and begins to play ... with paint. He paints everything that comes to his mind: girls and cats, huge monkeys and British soldiers, bears and flying mice ... and a few dozen different heroes - all can not be remembered. Most of his body and clothes, especially the front are covered, a thick layer of oil paint. And in those days when there is no inspiration, the artist postpones drawing and devotes himself to a video game - from morning till night. Or builds wooden furniture from prefabricated blanks produced by industrial means. Such a kind of children's designer for those who have already grown long enough hands. Still very fond of spending time in his family - playing with his own children. And he lives without a single attribute of an adult.
The illustrations of this artist were appreciated by many world publications - Harper Collins, Cooks Illustrated magazine, Sleeping Bear Press, Scholastic, Random House and American Girl Inc. He illustrated more than fifty art books and received dozens of different awards for them. But best of all remembers the very first, received in the first grade, and not having any relation to drawing - he became the champion yo-yo. Some of his works are exhibited in the building of the US Capitol in Washington. But most of all she appreciates the child's praise. The exclamation "It's great!" Easily replaces to him a couple of laudatory articles written by connoisseurs of contemporary art.
